Welcome to The Hive: BELA’s Student Newsroom Opens Its Digital Front Page

The Hive launches as a student-led space for reporting, photography, opinion and culture at BELA.

BELA school entrance in Brooklyn.

The Hive is opening its digital front page with a simple purpose: give BELA students a place to report what matters, ask better questions and publish work the community can return to.

Student journalism is strongest when it is useful, fair and close to the people it serves.

This site is organized like a living newspaper. The homepage leads with current stories, then moves through school news, campus life, senior voices, photography, arts, fashion and opinion. Every article can include comments, photo captions and clear section labels.

The newsroom will grow as student editors add names, beats, meeting notes, photo credits and new reporting.
